Official welcome to the Lumineers Americana fold. They were my band of choice for last year's birthday, as they played in their hometown stadium of Mile HIgh, Denver with Nathaniel Rateliff, another Denver boy. A ligthning storm tried to upend the night, but it didn't stand a chance against so many fans mainfesting brilliance that evening. By far the most magical concert for me so far. Plus, the fact that they could do a song for Pete's Dragon film that will tear your heart out ("Nobody knows how to say goodbye...mmhmm... when I looked back you were gone...")... 'nuff said.
